Independence Day

On Thursday, 15th August, we celebrated the 67th Independence Day. This was an exciting day for all of us!

The day started with the assembly, where Sir Takhur, a teacher, raised the Indian flag.

All the students had to warm up and do some exercices together.

Iris Wilkinson, the founder of the school, was the special guest!

Many kids had prepared dances for this day.

We also wanted to dance with the kids. That's why we prepared a dance to the song:
Go Go Govinda!

The Independence Day was also Pritika's last day at the school. She had a great time here! We are all happy that she spend her summer vacation in Nagpur and organized the Science Lab. She did a great job!
As a goodbye present, she donated samosas and sweets to the kids.

The kids, teachers, guests and us enjoyed the day very much!
