Kids enjoying their new Merry-Go-Round!

Improvement of the NJS-Playground

Thanks to Family Hecht

Franzi, a volunteer at Nav-Jeevan, tells us about her family who visited the Dr.T.S. Wilkinson Memorial School in October 2013:

My parents Gerlinde and Henning and my brother Maxi travelled to India to get to know the country, the people, and the way I am living and working here at Nav-Jeevan-Sanstha.

During their stay they wished to contribute something to improve the life of the Nav-Jeevan children. We visited a factory to choose a Merry-Go-Round for the kids.

They also brought a lot of teaching material which will be helpful for the English teachers.

Nav- Jeevan is always grateful to receive any In-Kind-Donations which will help the students in their academics, sports and physical activities.

After a week the Merry-Go-Round was delivered and was set up by Anup, warden of NJS, and the staff of the company.
After having watched the construction attentively the children unfortunately had to wait a few more days until they were allowed to jump on it and enjoy their freetime, because the cement of the basement had to dry properly.

Finally after the Diwali Holidays the kids were free to use the Merry-Go-Round as much as they like- which is a lot!

It is great to see these smiling faces having so much fun during their schoolbreak and freetime.

So again we say Thank You so much for this great help!
"A good deed never goes unrewarded in the eyes of God."
GOD BLESS YOU ALL

If you are interested in another donation (such as the Banana Climber that you can see in the picture below) please contact us and we will be happy to arrange it!
