Kabaddi

Today was a fun day for the children as there were a lot of games and dancing going on at NJS! Some boys played the game Kabaddi, which really caught our eye. In the game, two teams are split up on a field, each on opposite sides of the middle line. The two teams take turns sending a 'raider' to the opposite team's side, who has to try and tag on of the opposing players, all while holding their breath and chanting 'kabaddi, kabaddi, kabaddi' as long as possible. The goal of the game is for the raider to tag an opponent and then cross the middle line without being tackled by the other team.  The boys had a great time, see how it played out below!

Running back safely

Things can get very competetive!

Caught!

Having fun!
